Nicely lined up at CeBit, all important phone producers are dying to show first how wonderful and diverse their last creations are. And the serious offer consist of 4-5 new phones, ready to daze the users, competitors, press and everybody else.

Motorola plays hard at CeBit, throwing in the game no less than nine new models, three of which are 3G.

The 3G area is covered by V1150, V1050 si V975.
The first is equipped with a 2 Megapixel camera and a 2.2 LCD display, with QVGA resolution. Up to 512 MB TransFlash memory can be added. The phone is Bluetooth and WAP 2.0 compatible and offers MP3/AAC+/WMA
audio support and MPEG4/WMV/Real Video video support. The phone will be available starting with the fourth trimester of the year.

Motorola V1050 is the second 3G solution the producer offers. The phone is fit with a 1.23 Megapixel camera and a 2.2 inch TFT screen. The same TransFlash memory slot enhances the storage capability for those caring to run audio-video files. The phone will be available from the second trimester.

Motorola V975 ends the 3G parade, but it’s more modest than the other two solutions: equipped with only a VGA camera, its 16 MB internal memory can be extended with only up to 256 MN, and the 16 bit screens offer an 176x220 pixel resolution. The good news is that this phone is going to be available very soon (this month), and it’s going to cost 350 euros.

The new phone series from Motorola continues with the GPRS/EDGE compatible segment, represented by Motorola V360 and V235, both with integrated digital cameras and audio players, with internal memories of only 10 and 5 MB, and upgrade possibilities of only up to 256 MB.

Motorola’s offer ends with V176, V557, SLVRcam V280 and SLVRlite V270, all only GSM-compatible, with VGA cameras and a few advanced features, such as Push-to-talk, EDGE/GPRS and Bluetooth connectivity and J2ME. All these models are going to become available from the second half of the year.
