It is now available for purchase for $369.990 with prepaid plan

Unveiled back in April, Motorola RAZR MAXX made it to market one month later. The smartphone is available in the United States at Verizon Wireless, but an international variant hit shelves as well.

Today, Motorola announced the immediate availability of the RAZR MAXX in Chile. Android enthusiasts looking for a smartphone that will offer them one of the longest talk time and standby time can now purchase the RAZR MAXX via major carrier Movistar.

The smartphone is currently available at an initial cost of $19.990, with a multimedia plan from $59.990, and $369.990 with prepaid plan.

Following the same design line as the original RAZR smartphone, the RAZR MAXX is built with a resistant KEVLAR fiber, as well as Corning Gorilla Glass coating, which protects the display from scratches and scrapes.

More importantly, the RAZR MAXX gets shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box, though the smartphone was initially launched with Gingerbread onboard.

Hardware-wise, the smartphone is equipped with a dual core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, which is complemented by 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

The phone comes with a more than decent 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution.

There's also an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a secondary 1.3-megapixel front facing camera for video calls.
