The US-based mobile maker Motorola, Inc. and Dolce & Gabbana unveiled the limited edition RAZR V3i Gold.

The Italian design duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have added distinctive liquid gold finish, a personalized background with screensaver, a tailored sound for power up and
down, an exclusive polyphonic ring tone and a video clip illustrating 20 years of Dolce & Gabbana brand history.

Modeled after the original V3, the V3i offers the same sleek design and cool metallic finish that have made the RAZR one of the hottest handsets in the market today.

The limited edition RAZR V3i also includes rich functionality with quadband GSM technology, Bluetooth connectivity, an upgraded 1.23-megapixel camera, microSD memory slot and MPEG-4 video capture. V3i is expected to come with either iTunes music software or Motorola's Digital Audio Music Player.

Motorola will be releasing only 1,000 units of the limited-edition gold RAZR V3i exclusively in Dolce & Gabbana boutiques worldwide.

Each phone will be individually numbered and while no price has been confirmed yet, the US mobile maker expects the phone to start shipping only in the first quarter of 2006.
