Motorola Mobility already announced plans to come to the market with a successor for the Motorola XOOM tablet PC, and some new info on the release date and pricing of this device has just emerged.

Dubbed Motorola XOOM 2, the device is expected to hit the shelves in a series of markets before Christmas, and users living in Europe will be able to benefit from its capabilities in the near future.

The info comes from a document leaked from the Carphone Warehouse, which also unveiled the fact that this device will go for €399.90, or around $545.

The price will be attached to the WiFi-only flavor of the tablet PC, it seems, the one that packs 16GB of internal memory.

The device will land on shelves with an 8.2-inch touchscreen display, as well as with the Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS flavor on board.
