A new Motorola Android-based was spotted on a Chinese regulatory website (TENNA), tagged as Motorola XT806. The device seems to be the upgraded version of the old Motorola XT800 and will probably be launched exclusively on the Chinese market.

The US-based manufacturer seems to have a pretty full agenda with little time to rest, as we've seen lots of Motorola devices released lately, and also more that are yet to be announced.

The last device to come on the scene is the XT806 smartphone, which seems to be an entry-level Android phone, which is supposed to be launched through China Telecom, one of the China's largest carriers.

Motorola XT806 Android flip phone is powered by a TI OMAP3430 600MHz processor and comes with a 3.7-inch resistive touch screen (854 x 480 pixels resolution) with 262k colors support.

There's no information about the Android version which will run on the device, but there's a high chance it will come with an older version (1.6).

Other highlights of the Android-based smartphone include: microSD card slot for memory expansion, FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, WAPI (China's wireless network), and a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, which seems to be capable to shoot 720p videos.

Motorola XT806 is compatible with CDMA2000 network and will probably be sold by China Telecom exclusively. Even though it's an entry level, it would've been nice to be able to get one in Europe or U.S.

More information about the device will probably leak in the coming days, but the fact that it will not go out of China might limit the interest of the brand.

XT806 will probably not go over the 200 Euro price limit, especially that will be subsidized by the China Telecom network operator. The smartphone is set to be launched through the Chinese carrier by the end of this month.
