Motorola XOOM is a real globetrotter, as the manufacturer managed to launch device in almost all regions of the world in a such a short time.

The latest country on XOOM's list is Thailand, which will get the Honeycomb tablet starting today via Motorola's distributor SiS Distribution.

Although Motorola announced that only the Wi-Fi version of the tablet will be available in Thailand for the moment, the retailer has yet to announce the device's price.

Motorola XOOM re-defines what the tablet experience should be,” said Robert van Tilburg, senior regional sales director for Motorola Mobility in South Asia.

Potential customers should know that the XOOM features a large 10.1-inch widescreen HD display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution that is perfect for HD videos and movies.

Furthermore, it sports a 2-megapixel front facing camera, as well as a 5-megapixel main camera on the back, which is also capable of capturing HD movies (720p@30fps).

Designed from the ground up with the user in mind, it provides more ways to have fun, connect with friends and stay productive while on the go. Whether surfing the Web, watching the latest hit movie as it was intended or video-chatting with friends, Motorola XOOM will delight customers with its ease of use, speed and vivid graphics, as well as its Motorola Smart Accessories,” added Tilburg.

As other competitive solutions offered by other brands, the XOOM offers a wide range of connectivity features such as HSDPA and HSUPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and EDR support, as well as microUSB 2.0 and built-in GPS.

The tablet is equipped with a powerful dual-core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor meant to improve the users’ experience on Android widgets, multi-tasking, browsing, gaming, as well as customization.

It is unclear if the retailer also offers some of XOOM's compatible accessories that are available in other countries: a standard dock, a speaker HD Dock, and a custom keyboard with Bluetooth wireless technology and special Android shortcut keys.
