Verizon Wireless and Motorola has just announced that XOOM 4G LTE upgrade offer will end on March 31. That’s a bit more than three weeks from now.

Customers who haven’t been able to send in their Motorola XOOM 3G units for the upgrade should hurry up as the deadline is pretty close.

According to the folks over at Phandroid, the turnaround time is about four days, which is a major improvement from the two-week period confirmed by Motorola.

Motorola has started to receive XOOM 3G units for upgrade about one year ago. Owners who sent in their slates received the upgrade to 4G LTE for free, as promised by Motorola Mobility.

For more details on how to send your Motorola XOOM 3G unit for a 4G LTE upgrade, head over to Verizon Wireless site.
