New information on the unannounced Motorola X has just popped up online, which somewhat confirms that we won’t have to wait too long for the handset to go on sale.

The folks over at AndroidCentral have just uncovered what appears to be a US Cellular internal memo, which mentions that Motorola X is slated for an August 26 launch.

There’s also something called Wave 1, 2 and 3 mentioned in the leaked document, which, according to the cited source, refers to stores in USCC’s LTE markets.

Apparently, the carrier’s non-LTE markets will receive the Motorola X at a later date that’s not specified in the internal memo.

Whether the information is accurate or not, one thing is certain, Motorola is indeed preparing for a major event in the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
