Two of Motorola's wireless broadband products have received two NXTcomm Eos Awards as a sign of appreciation for the technology solutions that this company has managed to provide.

Motorola's WiMAX Flexible Access Point System has been considered winner of the Technology Innovation Group: Access Networking
category. This service is made of a regular WiMAX Base control Unit that can be combined with any selection from other Motorola RF modules. The advantage that this solution brings is that it adapts very easily to the market's evolving needs.

The second award has been received by the MOTOMESH Duo product, previously known as HotZone Duo. This has played an important role in an education research project in China. Moreover, it was considered at the NXTcomm Eos Awards the leader in the category Network Design/Services Group: Wireless/Mobile/Network Services.

"These awards further demonstrate that Motorola is a proven industry leader when it comes to deploying customized, end-to-end wireless broadband systems that enable providers to deliver true comprehensive communication platforms to their consumers", said Fred Wright, senior vice president, Motorola Home & Networks Mobility.

The fact that Motorola has managed to receive these awards is a statement of the evolved services that it manages to provide its users at all times. "The Eos Award is the latest in a series of industry recognition for our WiMAX and MOTOwi4 solutions," further declared Fred Wright. For this reason, their appreciation for the quality of Motorola's services is considerably important on the mobile phone wireless services market.

With these two new awards, Motorola now covers all product categories, including wi4 WiMAX, wi4 Mesh, wi4 Fixed and wi4 Indoor. This comes as a result of previous appreciations received in the last year for Motorola's WiMAX services. These include WiMAX World Europe Awards, Wireless Broadband Innovation Award for Best Wireless Broadband Mobility Solution and Best Telco/Service Provider.
