Mobile phone maker Motorola is reported to be working on the development of another mobile phone that would come to the market with CDMA functionality, the Motorola W766. According to the latest news on the Internet, the new handset has been already spotted into the wild, namely on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group website.

As many of you might already know, the Bluetooth SIG is the place where Bluetooth devices are certified, and this is not the first time when new mobile phones leak to the Web via this site. The Motorola W766, which seems to have received approval from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group, is reported to come with the codename Harmony.

What is known so far about the new Motorola W766 is that, obviously, it will feature Bluetooth connectivity, and that it will include support for a variety of Bluetooth profiles, including Headset Profile, File Transfer Profile, A / V Remote Control Profile, Dial Up Networking Profile, Basic Printing Profile, Object Push Profile, Basic Imaging Profile, Advanced Audio Distribution Profile, Hands-Free Profile 1.5, Phone Book Access Profile.

In addition, it seems that the new mobile phone from Motorola has been built upon the platform of an older model, the Motorola A455 Rush, which is known as Rival A455, also a CDMA mobile phone, and which was recently launched in the US by Verizon Wireless. There are no exact details on what the new handset will actually look like or what it should feature, yet, in case it will resemble its predecessor, we should be able to see another touchscreen device coming to the market, with or without a QWERTY keypad.

Hopefully, more details on the new Motorola W766 Harmony will surface into the wild in the near future, and we will be able to learn more on its functionality, as well as some details on the availability and possibly the price tag it will come with. Stay tuned to learn more info as soon as it becomes available.
