And Motorola W490 should be available just about...well, now. The latest information says that T-Mobile should announce the release of this mobile phone on the 1st of October, which should mean that we are only a few hours away from the official unveiling.

As it usually happens with theseleaked specification sheets, there are only few details revealed on the phone's true performances. Motorola W490 is only a middle ranged device, nothing special, but the information provided shows it even less appealing.

This RAZR-looking mobile phone has high chances of being successful especially due to its resemblance with the other Motorola phone. Still, it looks like it will fail to bring its slimness and will also come with several drawbacks. The clamshell will have an incredibly small internal display screen, most probably with a low resolution that will prove to be pretty uncomfortable. There is also an external one, fairly useful, with no high expectations for great quality.

Motorola W490 will also have a 1.3 megapixel camera, the basic when it comes to taking captures of a rather poor quality. There is also some good news on this phone, as it also supports emails, a feature that will surely prove to be useful. The handset is also myFaves compatible and can send instant messages.

The list of appealing features goes on with a music player that should bring great music rendering quality. Moreover, Motorola W490 also has a memory slot for making sure that the user has enough space for storing all his songs and personal files. Bluetooth connectivity will also be provided, for listening to music wirelessly.

Motorola W490 will be available in several colors, including black, green and purple, starting with the 1st of October. Complete distribution set for the 8th of October and should take place at T-Mobile, Costco and Target stores. Pricing has been set at USD 160 stock, but rebates and instant discounts may bring the cost as low as USD 50.
