A low-end modest phone

Motorola W377 has just been FCC approved, which means that an entry-level handset will join the already existing thick line of other similar devices. RAZR phones are really popular in the US, which should bring this more affordable phone great chances of being successful.

The phone looks like nothing out of the ordinary. In fact, it has the same RAZR keypad and design that has been seen in a huge number of Motorola phones until now. This time it's not about lack of creativity, but only about making the phone model match each taste and every pocket.

This is not the only entry-level device coming from this producer that resembles its most popular model, the Motorola RAZR one. There are many others similar to this one, which makes it clear that it's nothing special. Motorola W377 is a clamshell handset that should prove to be slim, but still in rather large sizes, if it manages to truly resemble the more expensive model it copies. The external display is smaller and probably monocrome.

The handset also includes a camera, although there are high chances for it to be a VGA one that will surely disappoint. It also has a timer, although such a feature might be difficult to use in the case of a clamshell phone, as this is not capable of standing by itself on any surface without a support. Because of this, someone will have to be holding the phone, so then what's the use of the timer?

The display screen is small and unimpressive. The phone prides with its Bluetooth connectivity and MMS support, although more evolved phones take this for granted. Other than that, Motorola W377 also includes some of the most practical tools, such as Calendar, Calculator, Stopwatch and others that only a low end phone could brag about.

Motorola W377 should be available pretty soon on the US market, although the producer has made no official statement on the date when this should happen.
