Motorola will bring a new highly accessible mobile phone on the market in Hong Kong. The W218 model will come at a fairly small price and bring its user all the performances that he might expect from a device of such range.

This is, first of all, a mobile communication device and counts on providing the basic features on reliable terms to its user. Entertainment is one of the main features that more evolved mobile phones try to provide in various ways to their users. Motorola W218 manages to do that in the less soliciting way.

No need for high memory space and to evolve media player software. This mobile phone comes with the simplest solution. It has a built-in FM radio which allows its user to access music, news, weather forecasts and all the information that owners of high-end phones receive through fast internet and mobile TV.

Motorola W218 has a small 1.6 inch 65k color display capable of supporting resolutions of up to 128 x 128 pixels. This makes a perfect pair with the VGA camera with 4x zoom. They have both been surpassed by more evolved features which are commonly met in most phone models. Moreover, the low quality of the camera matches the unimpressive performances of the display screen. This cellular also manages to pack 1 MB of internal memory and no chance for a memory expansion card slot.

Motorola W218 will be available from now on in Hong Kong, as it has been announced for launch by the end of the second quarter of this year. It was just about time for this handset to hit the market, as the third quarter of the year will be here soon. Motorola has made no specifications on the price that this mobile phone will be available for, but it should not be too great, as to match its low performances.
