Three new mobile phone models have just been launched for freshening up Motorola's line of handsets, through the W212, W371 and W510 models. Unfortunately, they are bound to be nothing more than some of the many devices that will fail to impress anyone, as they pack only average performances in some highly fashionable
designs.

The new three phones look just like many other Motorola handsets seen up to this point. The W212 model has a classic candybar form, with a navigation wheel that is specific to this producer. Motorola has put only low end performances in this device, as it comes equipped with a 1.5 inch screen capable of a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels, an extremely low one. Still, the handset might prove to be quite comfortable to handle, as it has only 14.6 mm in thickness and 75 grams. A more middle-end feature on this device is the FM radio that it also packs for offering the user some entertainment.

Motorola W371 is a clamshell that brings the RAZR look that too many mobile phones coming from this producer have put on. The device is slightly more evolved than the previous one, as it has a 1.8 inch screen with a resolution of 128 x 160, still a fairly low one. This phone is 18.6 m in thickness, far from the slimness that RAZR phones have gotten people used to. This phone has FM radio too, although it brings few other entertainment solutions.

Finally, the W510 phone model comes even closer to the RAZR design with its silvery metal finish. It's more evolved than the other two ones, although it holds no out of the ordinary capabilities. It packs a 1.3 megapixel camera and a media player, but it relies on a microSD slot for adding up to the 20MB of internal memory. It brings Bluetooth, miniUSB, GPRS and EDGE connectivity, as well as support for instant messaging and email sending.

The handsets will be available from now on in Taiwan. The W371 is expected to be sold for about USD 530, while the W510 will be priced at USD 730, some huge prices if considering to the performances on these mobile phones.
