Motorola V750, the clamshell we first heard of about two months ago, is ready to be released soon by Verizon Wireless, as samples from the phone's User Guide have recently appeared on the Web.

Unveiled by Phone Arena, the new snapshots with Moto V750 bring to light several details that make the handset a pretty desirable one. The phone is actually named Motorola Adventure V750 and it's presented by Moto as being "designed to perform" and "built to endure". The adventure reference will probably raise the interest of many users, but what will surely attract people is the fact that the new Moto is rugged and durable, meeting the US Military Specifications 810F. This basically means that users will be able to carry the phone in rough environments without worrying it may suffer damages from shocks, dust, radiations, high temperature and so on.

Aside from really being a "tough phone", Motorola V750 also offers a range of pretty cool features: GPS and VZ Navigator to help you find your way with turn-by-turn directions and lots of maps, dual-band CDMA EVDO Rev. A connectivity (800 / 1900 MHz), a 2.2 inch internal display with a "high resolution" (probably 240 x 320 pixels), a 1.6 external color display, Push-to-talk (PTT) with a dedicated key, a high-end speaker, stereo Bluetooth and Bluetooth printing, music dedicated keys, voice dialing and advanced speech recognition, a headset jack (it's unclear yet if it has 3.5mm or 2.5mm), USB, access to the V CAST Music and V CAST Video services, a 2.0 Megapixel camera with video recording, microSD card support for up to 8GB of extra memory and a 1170 mAh battery that promises to offer a long lifetime.

The new Moto V750 weighs 3.9 ounces (110 grams) and, when not flipped, it measures 4.0 x 2.0 x 0.65 inches (102 x 51 x 16.5 millimeters).

At the moment, we don't know V750's price or the exact date when it will be available for purchase. Anyway, with this new phone, Verizon will be offering this year at least three new Moto clamshells to its customers. Besides the rugged and ready for adventures V750, there's also the W755 (already available, for $70 with a two-year contract), and the VU30, which will apparently also be PTT-capable.
