An even more feminine touch to Motorola's U3 PEBL

Most handsets start looking cheap and ostentatious once their producers decide to paint them pink to suit some questionable tastes. Motorola U3 PEBL is one display of how this rule can be broken and actually have an elegant and colorful handset, all at the same time.

Motorola has made a good move with this PEBL change of color, making the phone look better than ever before, in a fresh new style. Unfortunately, they have done nothing to its specification list, a major drawback that still keeps the U3 PEBL on the lower line of mobile phones.

Great color, smooth lines curved to the max, all these features should make the phone stand out. It surely will, especially as the new color makes its large sizes even more obvious than ever before. At 87.5 x 49 x 22.2 mm, the clamshell looks bulky and not capable of living up to the slimness standards that more evolved handsets create. The 105 grams weight is nothing out of the ordinary and will still make this mobile phone comfortable to use, although it will be far from the light status.

This is more of a statement phone, meant to bring more of a unique design than some evolved performances. In fact, its specifications reveal a really low-end device, which can also be guessed right from the small display, capable of a resolution of only 128x160. It looks terrible, but that's the price that beauty has to pay.

Motorola U3 PEBL also comes equipped with a VGA camera that will take terrible pictures, but at least it will be able to capture some memories. The handset also brings EDGE support and little other evolved features. Specifications are only scant for this device, but it's the good looks that will make it sell.

The new pink Motorola U3 PEBL looks even more fashionable, although it is just as low end as its previous version. The producer has revealed nothing on the market that this vividly colored handset will be available on.
