Boost Mobile, the division of Sprint that delivers wireless services without the need of a contract, credit checks or activation fees, has announced today that its users will be able to purchase the Motorola Stature i9 from the company all dressed up in red. The new color variant comes after the introduction of the black Stature i9 in February 2009, coupled with the carrier's $50 Monthly Unlimited plan.

The new Motorola Stature i9 in red, which has been introduced so as to keep up with retail demand, is available for purchase from the company's website at the price of $299.99 with no contract, credit check or hidden fees, and with free shipping. The handset will also become available in the near future through other Boost Mobile retail and distribution channels, the carrier says.

“Compelling multimedia capabilities combined with a sleek design – it is the thinnest flip phone ever offered on the iDEN network – incited widespread popularity for the i9 among consumers seeking to activate service on our Monthly Unlimited offer,” said Neil Lindsay, chief marketing officer, Boost Mobile. “Introducing more i9 handsets into the market is just one action aimed at keeping pace with consumer demand.”

Those who would like to purchase the new Motorola Stature i9 in red from Boost Mobile will be able to enjoy features like nationwide Boost Walkie-Talkie, a high-resolution external display with dynamic touch controls, a 3.1-megapixel photo snapper that includes flash and 8x zoom, a video camera, music player and stereo Bluetooth capabilities.

The handset
is coupled with the Boost Mobile Monthly Unlimited plan which, as many of you might already know, offers unlimited anytime calling, text messaging, wireless Web and walkie-talkie services for only $50 a month. The service covers more than 17,500 cities throughout the United States, and does not require any additional Telecom Taxes, domestic roaming charges or domestic long-distance fees.

boost mobile must suck in their text messages or their phones but their coverege is good. i live in california and the other day i was driving by the mojave desert in the middle of no where and phone got service. i was about to cancel my service that day because i don't like their text messages but since i got really good coverege, i decided to stay with it.
