Motorola has finally gone live with its upcoming Stature i9. A product page on the mobile phone maker's site can be accessed to view specifications and features of the device, and there is also a registration page for those who would like to learn more about it.

According to the company, the new Motorola Stature i9 comes to the market as the thinnest iDEN Push-To-Talk flip device made by the manufacturer. The mobile phone is able to deliver to users both a stylish design and productivity features, being a great companion for successful people.

The handset includes the Motorola ModeShift Morphing technology, which enables the keys on the outside of the touch-sensitive flip to morph and illuminate according to the mode. At the same time, while users make a call, different keys lighten up, and the same happens when its media player is turned on, when a picture is taken or when one records video using the Motorola Stature i9's 3.1-megapixel snapper, which sports flash and auto-focus.

The new mobile phone also comes with touch-sensitive media keys as well as a large external display that enables users to access media, recent calls and other options. The stereo Bluetooth wireless technology offers a great listening experience, while the GPS capabilities offer support for location-based services. At the same time, users will have the 8GB removable memory slot at hand to carry with them any music or video files they would like to listen to.

In addition, Motorola’s iDEN Push-To-Talk technology provides a fast way to communication through the simple push of a button. The 15mm thick Motorola Stature i9 should come to Boost Mobile by the end of February, while Sprint will also receive it a little later. As for the price, the handset should cost $299 on Boost Mobile without a contract, and $199 on Sprint after a $50 mail-in-rebate and the inking of a 2-year agreement.

More info on the Motorola Stature i9 can be found on the company's site.
