Motorola fans will be happy to know that the US-based handset maker's latest Android smartphone, the Moto X Developer Edition got a $100 (€75) discount.

The smartphone was initially priced at $650 (€485) outright, but customers can now purchase it for only $550 (€410) upfront.

This version of Moto X comes with 32GB of internal memory and is only available on AT&T and T-Mobile networks. Motorola also mentions that due to high demand, Moto X Developer Edition for GSM networks may take as long as 7 days to ship.

The handset also sports a 4.7-inch AMOLED (RGB) capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

Moto X Developer Edition ships with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, but it has already been confirmed for an Android 4.4. KitKat upgrade.
