Mobile phone maker Motorola has just made available on its website the specifications of a new handset it plans to soon launch on the market, the MOTO W403. A low-level flip phone, MOTO W403 comes with music capabilities, as it features both an MP3 player and FM radio, while also including CrystalTalk technologies and Bluetooth 2 connectivity.

According to the company, the music-oriented features of the device are not its only selling point, as its photo snapper can be included in the equation as well. Moreover, the new device also comes with a 1.8-inch display, as well as with a “thin, youthful 'metallic' look.” The handset's CLI monochromatic external display boasts a 96 x 32 pixel resolution and can show the clock, caller ID, music name and radio station.

Other specifications of the new device include GSM 850/1900 or GSM 900/1800 connectivity; GPRS Class 10; USB 2.0; EMS, MMS, SMS capabilities; video recording and playback; 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM; as well as a memory card slot for up to 2GB of additional storage space. The 910mAh battery included within the new MOTO W403 should be able to deliver up to 500 minutes of talk time, or up to 300 hours of standby time, the company adds.

The mobile phone maker also states on its site that not all features of the new device might be available, as this aspect depends on the carrier's capabilities. For what it's worth, the handset should come to the market sometime in the fourth quarter of the year, in Latin America. Unfortunately, no image with the new MOTO W403 has been released, so we do not know exactly what it looks like for now. Info on the price it will feature is also missing, though the phone shouldn't be too expensive, based on the specs it comes around with.
