It looks like Verizon will be the last to offer the highly anticipated Moto X update that Motorola promised a few weeks ago. The update is meant to bring major improvements to the phone’s camera and touch control.

According to AndroidCentral, the US-based handset maker has already started to send invitations to some members of Motorola Feedback Network that confirm that a new software upgrade will be tested for the Moto X.

There’s little doubt that this is in fact the same update that has already been released by other major carriers in the country.

Those unfamiliar with the upcoming upgrade should check out the full changelog, but keep in mind that Verizon’s version might have slightly different changes:

- Enhanced camera auto-white balance performance and color accuracy. - Improved exposure when taking photos outside or backlit, and improved clarity in low light. - Faster touch-to-focus time and reduced unnecessary refocusing in low light or scenes with continuous motion. - Enhanced transfer of content from old phone to new phone using Motorola Migrate. - Fine-tuned feature that allows you to find phone when it is lost that sometimes prevented a lost phone from reporting its location.
