H680 with eight hours of talk time

The problem with most Bluetooth headsets is that they die easy (and they're ugly). And I know you really don't want to stick a hand-crack to it. It wouldn't look ugly anymore.

Well, better attach a hand-crack to this. Motorola's new H680 comes with a "long-lasting" (not!) battery that provides the standard Bluetooth headset talk time, about eight hours, and approximately eight days of standby time. It comes with a stylish and functional portable case that helps protect the headset and also charges it. Motorola also unveiled at CTIA 2007 the S9 Bluetooth headset, previously known under the product name of H9 (an update to the H5).

Motorola said they also worked on their ergonomic factor. The Bluetooth Headset H680 comes with a silvery finish on the sides and a glass-like finish top and a different speaker and ear bud/ear hook. Because now it's closest to your ear, the ear bud will provide you some stronger audio quality. Interchangeable ear cushions are also there to give you a hand when it comes to hooking this to you ear. The ultra-light, ultra-comfortable ear hook can be rotated to let you point the microphone directly towards your mouth so conversations can be heard clearly.

"Since our first headset more than five years ago, Motorola has continued to introduce industry-leading Bluetooth enabled products to consumers," said Greg Estell, Corporate Vice President and General Manager, MobileME, Motorola, Inc. "H680 is perfect for users who have been waiting for a more discreet and elegant option, but are not willing to compromise on performance."

H680 will be available in Q3 2007.
