Some new images have appeared on a yet unannounced Motorola handset, called ROKR E8. The device looks great, revealing a new design concept that suits Motorola perfectly and also has high chances of bringing this company a fresh solution for making a breakthrough on the market.

Motorola might have just managed to pull it off. After several brain teasing months of trying to develop a new handset design, we get to see this ROKR E8 looking modern and promising. Specifications show average performances coming from this device, but nothing that couldn't be fixed through some more work from its producer.

What makes the Motorola ROKR E8 phone so special is, by far, its keypad. This manufacturer's phone keyboards have seen great success until now and have even been copied by its competitors and placed in their devices. Now, Motorola brings a new innovation to surpass those previous performances, although the device holds nothing more other than its good looks to impress.

The fact that the ROKR E8 mobile phone runs on Linux OS will also be a good reason to get some people excited over it. There is also a 2 megapixel camera included, although this is far from being considered a top performance when it comes to handsets. The handset also includes 2GB of built-in memory and a microSD card slot, for providing enough memory for its user. Other than that, there is also micro USB and Bluetooth connectivity as well as a 3.5 mm jack, although there are surely other features left to be revealed for impressing customers.

The handset comes in very slim sizes, as this producer has gotten us accustomed in the case of its best devices. Still, its main feature is definitely brought by the keys that light up when the user dials something. Moreover, when songs are playing, number keys are dimmed and music controls are brightened up.

Motorola ROKR E8 will be released only next year, although the producer has made no specifications on the exact date when this will happen.
