A Motorola phone that really transforms. More than a concept

The Transformers theme seems to have been really appealing to many people out there, as the number of devices using it has considerably increased. Images of a Motorola ROKR E6 Transformers phone have surfaced recently, although there are little specifications on what this device is actually capable of doing other than "transforming" into a robot.

This should be classified under "Toys", as there are low chances for this Motorola ROKR E6 phone to actually work. It's impressive to see, though, that some people went to a great amount of effort of developing such an impressive device. Mobile phone producers jumped at the idea and used it in many of their devices, as it proved to be highly popular and, at the same time, with great potential for profits.

Nokia has released its special Transformers versions of the XpressMusic line of phones and also used it in its N93i model. Motorola must have felt a bit left behind and decided to catch up with an even more intriguing product. This is not an official phone, although other images show an official background with the company's logo.

The Motorola ROKR E6 Transformers phone looks highly similar to a concept seen some while back ago, although that one has never been brought to reality. The device seems to be highly faithful to the original Transformers concept, although it looks and acts very much like a toy. It's a nice concept that anyone might want to play with for a little while. Unfortunately, the stylus is the phone's only "deadly" weapon, although some rockets would have been more impressive to see.

The idea of "transforming" regular objects into high tech robots comes from an animated movie back in the 80s, but has been brought back to life through this year's action film release. Since then, products have taken the Transformers theme and applied it in order to look more appealing to potential customers.
