Motorola RAZR2 V8 will bring its 11.9 mm thickness on the Indian market too from now on. The phone has just been released there with hopes of proving to be a worthy successor of the old RAZR handset.

The Indian market has proved to be a highly profitable one for many mobile phone producers, especially due to the fact that it is currently undergoing a rapid and intense development state. This makes it the perfect place to release entry level phones, but highly evolved ones
too.

Motorola RAZR2 V8 has seen releases on a large number of markets until now, as the producer has high hopes from this device in helping it win back its former success. The device has proved to be much less of a hit than expected, probably because of the fact that it lacks the originality which has made the RAZR model so appreciated in the past.

This handset comes equipped with two displays capable of a resolution of 240 x 320, although the outer one measures 2 inches and the internal screen has 2.2 inch in size. They manage to provide reliable support for easy access to the phone's functions, also making it easy to manage the playlist and music rendering functions.

Other specifications also include a 2 megapixel camera and 2 GB of internal memory for storing a large amount of media files. Moreover, the phone has an ARM 11 processor, Microsoft Windows Media Player 11 and full HTML browser. Connectivity is available through Bluetooth A2DP and USB 2.0.

"This device takes the world's best-selling feature phone to the next level. Combining groundbreaking new features and an even slimmer exterior than the original icon, the RAZR2 is capable of giving Indian consumers the ultimate mobile experience", considers Ray Roman, Motorola's Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales, Mobile Devices.

The Indian market will receive two packs of Motorola RAZR2 V8. The RAZR V8 deluxe pack will come at the price of Rs 20,428, while the premium pack comes along with an in-box Bluetooth S705 headset, all for Rs 21,549.
