One day after Motorola announced the upcoming availability of the TD-SCDMA version of the RAZR in China, the handset maker introduced the 3G version with even more stunning features.

Touted the “King of Multimedia,” Motorola XT928 will be available across the country via major carrier China Telecom beginning next month. There’s no word on the phone’s exact release date or pricing options yet.

Unlike the original Motorola RAZR that comes with a 4.3-inch display, the XT928 features a slightly larger 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Advanced capacitive touchscreen that boasts 1280 x 720 HD resolution.

In addition, the multimedia smartphone sports an incredible 13-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, Wide Dynamic Range feature and full HD (1080p) video capture and playback. There’s also a secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.

The latest of China Telecom’s 3G Internet smartphones, the Motorola XT928 has great smartphone performance and imaging capabilities that surpass those of many digital cameras. China Telecom is well known for its strong portfolio of devices for professional users,” said Ma Daojie, director of China Telecom Device Management Center.

Motorola XT928’s “King of Multimedia” status is also explained by the fact that the device packs Dolby Digital Plus audio technology.

On the inside, the superphone is equipped with a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and packs 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

The XT928  is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread and provides quick access to thousands of apps via SHOP4APPS China, Motorola’s application stores aimed at Chinese users.

Although Motorola confirmed that Motorola RAZR would receive the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade in early 2012, there’s no telling what will happen with the Chinese versions.

With its combination of powerful multi-media functions and our fast e-Surfing 3G network, the Motorola XT928 will delight even our most demanding customers,” concluded Daojie.
