Motorola’s Android super-phone, the RAZR ha finally reached Egyptian shores. Customers who wish to purchase the Motorola RAZR must shell out no less than EGP4499 (750 USD or 570 EUR).

If you’re not hindered by the phone’s prohibitive price and can afford paying that much, the Motorola RAZR is available at Mobile Shop and Raya store.

Thinner than most Android smartphones available in the market, Motorola RAZR stands out at only 7.1mm thickness and 127g (battery included).

Motorola RAZR is built to last as the manufacturer made use of premium material to impress and appeal potential customers. The phone uses KEVLAR fiber, Corning Gorilla Glass and splash-guard coating.

With the new Motorola RAZR we have re-imagined an icon. Our North African customers are extremely design conscious and attuned to the latest trends, so this is a case of perfect smartphone, perfect place, perfect time,” said Raed Hafez, general manager for Motorola Mobility, Middle East & Africa.

The device comes with few accessories that must be purchased separately, such as the HD Multimedia Station and the Lapdock 500 Pro.

With the Motorola RAZR Work and Play kit users can attach the smartphone into the HD Multimedia Station to connect to HDTV, speakers, as well as other peripherals and watch their favorite shows on larger screen.

The Motorola Lapdock 500 Pro features a built-in keyboard and a 14” HD resolution screen making the RAZR look like a thin laptop when attached to it.

The RAZR sports a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, which is based on Motorola’s Advanced mobile display technology.

Powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Motorola RAZR will receive the latest Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade in early 2012. Last but not least, the smartphone is equipped with a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
