Mobile phone maker Motorola Mobility has officially announced plans to bring to the market in Brazil what it says will be the first 4G handset in the country, namely the Motorola RAZR HD.

Made official last week, the new mobile phone comes with a stunning 4.7-inch HD display that can deliver an impressive viewing experience to all users, as well as with great performance capabilities, courtesy of its dual-core 1.5 GHz application processor.

Not only will the upcoming handset provide users with the possibility to enjoy 4G speeds, but it will also offer them a wide range of other features to take advantage of, including NFC capabilities, Motorola notes.

“And use SMARTACTIONS to extend your battery and get even more hours of fun by automating everyday tasks based on triggers like time of day, location, battery levels and more. Bottom line: stop searching for the charger and start enjoying life,” the company stated.

Although packing a 4.7-inch touchscreen display, the new device is very compact, featuring the same size as Motorola RAZR before it.

It also offers increased durability courtesy of Corning Gorilla Glass coating on the display, or DuPont KEVLAR fiber on the casing.

The features list of Motorola RAZR HD also includes an 8-megapixel photo snapper with support for full HD video recording, as well as a front camera for making video calls even when on the go.

Through the included NFC technology, RAZR HD makes it easy for users to share content such as links, apps, songs, pictures and more with other devices through Android Beam.

Wi-Fi connectivity is also included inside this device, along with Bluetooth and a built-in GPS receiver, as well as a microSD memory card slot to expand the available internal memory.

Running under Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system (upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean), the smartphone also offers access to over 600,000 applications and games available in the Google Play Store, such as Google Maps, Chrome for Android, YouTube, and more.
