Motorola India has just slashed $80 off the RAZR’s no-term price. Even though the smartphone has yet to be offered by an Indian carrier, the new off-contract price option is now more attractive to Android fans.

According to AndroidOS, several leading retailers, including Flipkart and Letsbuy, are now offering the Motorola RAZR for Rs 29,990 (585 USD or 460 EUR). Previously, the smartphone would go for Rs 33,990 (665 USD or 520 EUR).

Currently, the RAZR is Motorola’s Android flagship smartphone, along with its twin brother DROID RAZR MAXX, which is only available in the United States through Verizon Wireless.

Motorola RAZR is powered by a dual core process clocked at 1.2 GHz and packs 16GB onboard memory, 1GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB). It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass and splash-guard coatings, as well as KEVLAR fiber.
