Shortly after announcing the Motorola DEFY+ in Poland, Motorola has gone official with its Android flagship smartphone, the Motorola RAZR.

Polish Android enthusiasts who want to purchase the RAZR will have to wait until December 12. The device is expected to hit select retail stores for a price that will be disclosed in due time. Motorola also said that the RAZR will also be part of Play’s offer.

One of the thinnest LTE-enabled smartphones (7.1mm) available in the market, the Motorola RAZR distinguishes by its slim form factor and unique design. The phone measures 130.7 x 68.9mm and weighs 127g (battery included).

The outside of the phone is built with ruggedness in mind, so users can be sure that the RAZR won’t disappoint when it comes to solidness.

The front part of the phone is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass display that protects the screen against scratches. The back cover is made of KEVLAR fiber, while the entire outsides and insides feature splash-guard coating.

Motorola RAZR features an amazing 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced capacitive touchscreen that boasts 540 x 960 pixels resolution and provides crisp and vivid pictures.

In addition, the phone is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor and packs 16GB onboard memory, 1GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Software-wise, the RAZR runs Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread and is expected to receive the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade in early 2012.

“This ultra-sleak smartphone offers the performance level that will not let anyone feel unsatisfied. Not only thinner, but also much better looking than your best friend’s smartphone. We believe that our customers in Poland will be lining up to be the first to have the next generation Motorola RAZR – the most captivating Android-powered smartphone on the scene,” said Małgorzata Matusiewicz, marketing manager, Central Europe, Motorola Mobility.
