Android enthusiasts rejoice as Motorola’s flagship smartphone is now available for purchase from Class. Motorola announced a suggested retail price of $750 (565 EUR), which is a bit steep.

The handset maker launched the RAZR in Argentina and Jordan at the same time, but the smartphone was priced much lower.

In Argentina customers can get the Motorola RAZR for $465 (350 EUR), but they will have to commit to a new two-year plan at $45 (35 EUR) per month, while customers living in Jordan can purchase the device for $700 (520 EUR) outright.

Apart from that, the Motorola RAZR is true to its flagship Android smartphone status and features a powerful processor and dual cameras, along with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread.

However, Motorola confirmed and recently explained that it will deploy the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade to several high end devices, including the Motorola RAZR.

With the new Motorola RAZR we have re-imagined an icon. This is a smartphone that is truly cutting-edge in both technology and design, and I am certain it will be a hit among the Levant’s trend-conscious consumers,” said Raed Hafez, general manager for Motorola Mobility, Middle East & Africa.

Thin, but solid at the same time, Motorola RAZR sports KEVLAR fiber on the back and Corning Gorilla Glass that helps protect the screen against scratches and scrapes. Furthermore, the insides and outsides of the RAZR are protected by a splash-guard coating.

The stunning 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced capacitive touchscreen is based on Motorola’s latest mobile display technology and boasts 540 x 960 pixels resolution and 16 million colors support.

The powerful 1.2 GHz dual core processor and 1GB of RAM enable a blazing fast user interface, along with extreme multi-tasking features.

With the preloaded Motorola MotoCast application, users can stream or download content from a computer directly on the device.
