Motorola continues to launch its Android flagship smartphone, the RAZR and make it available in more countries around the world. Today, the company announced that Android enthusiasts living in Jordan can purchase the Motorola RAZR.

The phone is now available from HMG for a suggested retail price of JD500 (about 700 USD or 520 EUR) outright. No word on other affordable pricing options yet.

One of the most iconic handset brands in the history, the RAZR series has been refreshed with an impossibly thin smartphone that will definitely rock any Android fan’s world.

Motorola RAZR sports an incredibly vivid and crisp 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced capacitive touchscreen that boasts 540 x 960 pixels resolution. In addition, the screen is protected against scratches via Corning Gorilla glass display.

The smartphone is built to last, so expect all sorts of premium materials, including KEVLAR fiber, aluminum and splash-guard coating.

With the new Motorola RAZR we have re-imagined an icon. Featuring head-turning design and packed with amazing features to empower life and entertain, Motorola RAZR is set to thrill our Jordanian customers with a winning combination of beauty and brains,” said Raed Hafez, general manager for Motorola Mobility, Middle East & Africa.

The RAZR breathes power from the inside as well. The phone is equipped with a 1.2 GHz dual core processor manufactured by Texas Instruments, which is complemented by a PowerVR SGX540 graphics processing unit.

Furthermore, the phone packs 1GB of RAM, 16GB storage and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB). An enhanced 8-megapixel rear photo snapper is available as well, along with a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera for video calls and chats.

Software-wise, the RAZR runs Google’s Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread operating system. There’s also a dedicated application called MotoCast, which allows users to stream or download content from a computer directly on the phone, while on the go.
