Motorola Mobility's RAZR series has just been refreshed with an Android superphone simply labeled Motorola RAZR.

Just like its clamshell predecessor, the new Motorola RAZR amazes through its impossibly thin form factor and appealing curves.

While the device measures 130.7 x 68.9, it's only 7.1mm thick and weighs 127g (battery included), which makes it world's thinnest LTE-capable smartphone.

According to the manufacturer, Motorola RAZR is set to arrive in stores in Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Middle East and Africa starting this November.

However, the North American version, the DROID RAZR will be available for pre-order at Verizon Wireless beginning October 27, for $300 (about 218 EUR) with a new two-year agreement.

Motorola RAZR is an iconic brand, and one that originally revolutionized the mobile device industry by turning a functional necessity into an object of desire. Now we’ve done it again with a head-turning, ultra-thin smartphone that offers users breathtaking speed, innovative apps and revolutionary accessories,”said Sanjay Jha, chairman and CEO, Motorola Mobility.

Motorola RAZR is built to last and sports KEVLAR fiber and Corning Gorilla Glass to prevent users from accidentally scratch or scrap the device.

Furthermore, the superphone comes with a brilliant 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors support and 540 x 960 pixels resolution.

The phone is equipped with a dual-core 1.2 GHz TI OMAP 4430 processor and an impressive PowerVR SGX540 graphics processing unit for a more immersive gaming experience.

It packs 16GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 16GB memory card included).

Unfortunately, the smartphone is not delivered with Ice Cream Sandwich platform at launch, instead Motorola RAZR runs Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread.

However, it is likely that Google and Motorola will offer an Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) upgrade for the RAZR in the near future.
