The
Motorola Q will be launched at Verizon Wireless next year. There have been many rumors about its launch and now it's been confirmed by a display unit at a Microsoft summit, which showed a fully fledged Motorola Q with a
Verizon
Wireless logo on it.
Fifty percent thinner than its top competitor
Palm Treo 700W, Q is also lightweight and features electro-luminescent keys, QWERTY keyboard, thumbwheel for single-handed control and internal antenna. Q also features Web surfing capabilities, a 1.3 mega pixel camera with photo lighting, video and
MP3 audio capabilities and cool compatible Bluetooth-enabled accessories.
One of the first devices to run on Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0,
Motorola Q has been optimized for Microsoft Exchange 2003 and for a variety of third party e-mail solutions that enables a broad set of corporate e-mail capabilities.
The
Motorola Q is expected to be available in Q1 of 2006, but there's no information about the pricing yet.
