The software update is available on
Motorola`s website, and brings MSFP (Messaging and Security Feature Pack) together with Microsoft Exchange 2003 (SP2), Direct Push Technology, HAC (hearing aid compliant) standards, improved browser navigation, some added security features and a new global address book lookup.
The most important new feature will be the dial-up networking, a feature that will let users use their Motorola Q as a modem via USB or
Bluetooth.
If you want to find details about setting up the dial-up networking, you should visit http://www.motoqwiki.com.
Before attempting to install the new software, you should backup your pictures, ringtones,
phonebook, datebook, multimedia files, messages, screensavers, wallpapers, browser settings, your email settings and the games that you have purchased from third parties.
