Or maybe just a rumor

Motorola Q 9H was released by AT&T a month ago for $499, after the handset received FCC's approval in August. These days, rumors that a Wi-Fi version of the smartphone exists appeared on the web, version that is to hit the US market soon, also released by AT&T. Apparently the new version doesn't have many features added, except a slight change of look (a chrome case instead of the dark silver original one) and the Wi-Fi connectivity, which, together with the HSDPA and 3G ones already available on the standard version of the phone, makes Motorola Q 9H a device that anyone would want to have. That is, if the Wi-Fi version will indeed be released, as there is no official info from AT&T regarding this until now.

Awaiting for clarifications, let's have a look at what the available version of Motorola Q 9H has to offer. Besides the HSDPA and 3G capabilities mentioned before, the smartphone also provides Bluetooth 2.0, EMU and USB 2.0 connectivity. It runs on Windows Mobile 6, and has microSD support for up to 2GB of memory, coming to meet the needs of those who have a lot of content to store on their handsets. Measuring merely 11.9 mm in thickness, Motorola Q 9H packs a full QWERTY keyboard that enables users to type fast and easy when wanting to make use of the phone's SMS, Windows Outlook Mobile and Instant Messaging features. Furthermore, a 2 Megapixel camera with LED photo indicator light and digital zoom is included, allowing users to take quite good quality photos.

If the Wi-FI version of Motorola Q 9H exists and soon comes via AT&T, it will probably have a price slightly over the one of the standard version. But that won't be a problem for users who want their smartphone to provide exhaustive connectivity features.
