The smartphone is now available via regional major carriers

After making headlines in Chile, Argentina, Colombia and Mexico, Motorola PRO+ has finally made it to Peru. Although the handset maker does not reveal the smartphone’s price tag, the PRO+ can now be purchased through major carriers in the country.

Motorola PRO+ is a typical business Android phone, so expect this one to offer the advantages of a full portrait QWERTY keyboard, as well as a slew of productivity tools.

The device is powered by Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, and provides users with access to more than 400,000 apps and games via Android Market.

Motorola PRO+ is shipped with 25 Exchange ActiveSync security policies pre-loaded, including PIN lock, auto-discovery of Exchange Servers, Extended Device Management API’s and 3LM integration.

It also integrates the ZumoCast application, which allows users to send content from their home or office computers directly to their phones. With Quickoffice Connect users will be able to open, create and edit documents while on the go.

On the inside, Motorola PRO+ incorporates a 1 GHz single-core processor, 4GB of internal memory, 512 MB of RAM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

The smartphone comes with a decent 3.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 640 x 480 pixels resolution and 16 million colors. In addition, the display features Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

A 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED-flash and video recording is included as well, along with Wi-Fi, HSDPA and Bluetooth support.
