Motorola Mobility continues to launch its mid-range lineup of Android smartphone in South America. Today, the company announced the immediate availability of its Motorola PRO+ business smartphone in Chile.

According to Motorola, the PRO+ is now available for purchase in Chile through the main local operators, so customers are recommended to check with their regional carriers for more details on the pricing options.

However, judging by its features, Motorola PRO+ is an affordable Android phone, which shouldn’t break the bank. The smartphone is powered by Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system with MOTOBLUR.

Aimed at those who are looking for a reliable business smartphone, Motorola PRO+ is capable of merging personal and business info in a convenient system meant to make users’ life easier. The smartphone can sync services and social networks via MOTOBLUR.

In addition, Motorola PRO+ comes pre-loaded with Quickoffice Connect application, which allows users to access, create and edit documents on the move.

Just like the MotoCast app that is pre-loaded on the Motorola RAZR, the PRO+ offers users a ZumoCast app, which does the same thing: it allows users to stream content from a computer directly on the phone without any costs.

Hardware-wise, Motorola PRO+ is equipped with a 1 GHz single-core processor, 4GB of internal memory, 512MB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB). There’s also a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash and video recording.

Last but not least, Motorola PRO+ sports a 3.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 640 x 480 pixels resolution, and Corning Gorilla Glass coating. A physical QWERTY keyboard is available as well.

The Motorola PRO+ is incredibly efficient; built to consolidate work and personal life for an advanced smartphone experience. Why shouldn’t you expect your smartphone to make your life easier and to give you an edge at work? That’s our goal at Motorola,” said Fernando Sanchez, general manager for Mobile Devices, Motorola Mobility Chile.
