U.S-based handset manufacturer Motorola has just announced that it will give away a wireless keyboard accessory worth $69.99 to each customer that purchases a Motorola XOOM tablet.

The promotion is available through June 14 and is limited to one piece per each Motorola XOOM purchase.

Potential customers must add the Bluetooth keyboard to cart to redeem the offer, which means that the deal is only available for online purchases .

In addition, Motorola throws in free two-day shipping on all XOOM purchases regardless of the amount of units sold, but customers must select “Two-Day Shipping” at checkout. The free shipping offer is only available for Motorola XOOM units.

Motorola XOOM is the world's first Android Honeycomb tablet available on the market and comes with a large 10.1-inch widescreen HD display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution that is perfect for HD videos and movies.

The device sports an average 5-megapixel main camera on the back, as well as a secondary 2-megapixel front facing camera for video chat.

As other competitive solutions offered by other brands, the XOOM offers a wide range of connectivity features such as HSDPA and HSUPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and EDR support, as well as microUSB 2.0 and built-in GPS.

Motorola XOOM is powered by a powerful dual-core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor meant to improve the users’ experience on Android widgets, multi-tasking, browsing, gaming, as well as customization.

Besides the currently free Bluetooth keyboard, Motorola offers additional accessories for the XOOM, including a standard dock and a speaker HD Dock, which must be purchased separately.

On related news, the XOOM has been upgraded to Android 3.1 Honeycomb and is expected to receive full 4G LTE support from Verizon in the next couple of weeks.

Currently, the Wi-Fi only Motorola XOOM model can be purchased for $599, while the 3G version is available for $599 with a new two-year agreement from Verizon, or for $799 off-contract.
