Verizon's Moto X was among the first to receive the Android 4.4 KitKat update, but it will probably be the last to get the Android 4.4.2 one.

Motorola and Verizon have already sent invitations for a Moto X soak test that will probably finish within the next few days.

As Droid-Life points out, Motorola Moto X has already received Android 4.4.2 KitKat at T-Mobile Sprint and US Cellular, but Verizon customers have yet to get it as well.

According to the official changelog, Android 4.4.2 for Moto X should bring some improvements to battery, as Motorola claims that it has fixed the bugs that caused a small number of users to experience shorter battery life after upgrading to Android 4.4.

In addition, the update will also add support for printing photos, Google Docs, Gmail messages, and other content via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and hosted services like Google Cloud Pring and HP ePrinters.

If everything goes according to plan, Verizon Moto X owners should start receiving the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update as early as next week.
