As expected, Canadian carrier Fido has just released the Motorola Moto X smartphone. Customers can purchase the handset for $450 (€315) outright or as low as $150 (€105) on 2-year Tab24 agreements.

As MobileSyrup points out, Canadian customers can only get the white and black versions of the Moto X, as opposed to US customers who are given a lot more options.

Motorola Moto X offers LTE support, as well as Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It also comes equipped with a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory (no microSD slot).

The smartphone sports a vibrant 4.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution and a 10-megapixel rear-facing camera that features LED flash, autofocus and full HD (1080p) video recording.
