Good news for Motorola fans in the United States, as major retailer Amazon has just opened pre-orders for the Moto G. The budget-friendly smartphone is available for only $180 (€130) off contract.

Keep in mind that the above price is for the 8GB model, while the 16GB variant can now be pre-order for $200 (€145). According to Amazon, Moto G will be released on December 3.

Customers in the United States that plan to grab the Moto G via Amazon should know the smartphone is compatible with the following bands: AT&T and AT&T based MVNO only (such as net10), UMTS HSPA+, CDMA EVDO Rev A.

It appears that Amazon simply matched Motorola's suggested retail price announced a few weeks ago. Motorola Moto G doesn't seem to be part of Amazon's Black Friday deals, but the $180 (€130) is a great price.
