It’s been a long time since Motorola Moto G was sold out at Flipkart, the only retailer in India that offers the smartphone. To make things even worse, the last shipment of Moto G units was not registered with local telecom operators, which resulted in IMEI issues that made the smartphones unusable.

However, Motorola has quickly fixed these IMEI issues and all customers who have previously purchased these smartphones are now able to use their devices with any carrier in India.

Those who have been anxiously waiting for the smartphone to arrive at Flipkart once again will be happy to know that Moto G is now available for purchase from the Indian retailer.

The good news is that both 8GB and 16GB models are now available at Flipkart for Rs 12,499 ($210 / €155) and Rs 13,999 ($235 / €175), respectively.

The main problem is that we don’t know how large the latest shipment of Moto G units that has just arrived at Flipkart is, but we suspect that it won’t be too long until the smartphone goes out of stock once again.

According to Flipkart, all Moto G orders are delivered within 2-3 business days, which means that, for the time being, the stock is sufficient to fulfill all orders.

Before choosing the right Moto G variant for you, keep in mind that the smartphone does not come with microSD card slot for memory expansion. This means that you will be left with the default storage, which in both cases is lower than what Motorola claims.

For example, if you choose the 8GB model, you will only be left with around 5-6GB of internal memory for installing apps and games, whereas if your get the 16GB, you will remain with a little above 11GB of storage inside.

On the positive side, Motorola has just confirmed that the Moto G will be among the first smartphones to receive the recently released Android 4.4.3 KitKat operating system.

It’ unclear when exactly the update will hit India, but we know that it will be released for Moto G, Moto X and Moto E smartphones.

Hardware-wise, Motorola Moto G is a pretty decent Android smartphone in this price range. The handset comes equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, an Adreno 305 graphic processing unit and 1GB of RAM.

The Moto G also sports a 4.5-inch HD capacitive touchscreen display that features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating. It also packs a 5-megapixel camera on the back with autofocus and LED flash, as well as a secondary 1.3-megapixel camera in the front for video calls.
