14 DAY TRIAL // Motorola fans in the United States rejoice, as the handset maker has announced that its latest addition to the lineup of affordable Android smartphones, the Moto G 4G LTE, is now available for pre-order.
According to Motorola, the upgraded version of Moto G is now available for pre-order in the US for just $219 (£130 / €160) outright. In comparison, the standard version of Motorola Moto G continues to be priced at $179 (£105 / €130) off contract.
The only differences between the two Moto G models is the fact that the new version comes with 4G LTE support and microSD card slot for memory expansion, while the standard variant lacks these features.
Apart from that, they have similar software and hardware configurations, so expect Android 4.4.2 KitKat packed in a nice plastic chassis and decent specs.
The Moto G 4G LTE comes equipped with the same quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz and 1GB of RAM.
It also sports a 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.
Motorola Moto G 4G LTE also packs a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and HD (720p) video recording, as well as a 1.3-megapixel secondary camera for video calls.
