The Moto G with 4G showed up in a rumor mill a while ago, dubbed as Styx, when a listing with a popular UK retailer leaked this particular information.

Today, the Moto G with 4G finally goes official, just not in the UK as we would have expected, but in Brazil where the handset is already available for purchase.

Moto G with LTE is now official

Since the Moto G was a huge hit on the international market, it only makes sense for Motorola to push out an LTE-model of the device.

The new Moto G offers the clean Android experience you have been craving for, exactly like its predecessor, but there are a few improvements over earlier models.

A notable change over the Moto G (2014) is that the 2015 takes advantage of a larger 2,390 mAh battery, which make sense since you’re getting an extra modem on the inside.

On top of that, Motorola has decided to continue with the dual-SIM setup and is offering the new model with 16GB of internal storage. Note that there is no 8GB option anymore.

The new Moto G (2015) has been treated with Lollipop

Another important change consists of the fact that the Moto G (2015) will ship out with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out of the box. The 2014 edition is still running Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and the Lollipop update still remains in the pipeline.

Apart from that, everything else remains the same. So we have a 5-inch 720p display with a quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC keeping things alive on the inside. The device dons an 8MP snapper on the back and a 2MP selfie camera up in front.

The new Moto G (2015) is on sale in the country for $345, which seems quite a lot, but bear in mind that Brazilian handset prices are usually pretty high. Also we’re dealing with an LTE model here.
