There’s no doubt about it, Motorola Moto E is the most popular Android smartphone in India and will probably continue to sell like crazy until the US-based company decides to replace it with another affordable handset.

We reported last week that Flipkart may have sold around 100k Moto E units in less than a day, but the online retailer announced that customers can continue to book the smartphone even if it’s not available for purchase.

This means that Flipkart may already have a huge backlog of orders which needs to be fulfilled, though the exact number of Moto E devices that have been “booked” by customers is still unknown for the moment.

However, AndroidOS reports a new shipment of 22,100 Motorola Moto E units arrived in India over the weekend, but they seem to have been destined to fulfil some of the orders booked last week. This means that the smartphone is still listed as “Out of Stock” at Flipkart, the exclusive seller of the Moto E in India.

There’s no telling when the retailer will receive the next shipment of Moto E units, but according to a previous statement, Moto E should be available for purchase once again sometime this week. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
