As expected, Motorola Mobility has introduced its cheapest Android smartphone to date, the Moto E, in India. The smartphone is exclusively available for purchase via Flipkart, the Indian retailer that teamed up with Motorola for the launch of the Moto E in India.

Before announcing all the details about the Moto E’s specs, price tag and availability, Motorola published the first promo for the Moto E.

The Moto E will be available in other countries as well including the UK and Canada, but it will be priced differently and will likely be available in a few days.

Customers will be able to purchase the Moto E starting at midnight for only Rs 6,999 ($115 / €85) outright, which is much lower than the initial rumored price.

As mentioned earlier, the Moto E is exclusively available in India via Flipkart, but it may be released in other countries through multiple carriers and authorized retailers.

The Moto E is advertised as a device that is “made to last, priced for all.” And given the fact that the launch of the smartphone in India is very important for Motorola, the US-based handset maker has also released a Hindi version of the first promotional video starring the Moto E, which you can watch below. Do you plan to pick the Moto E at midnight?
