Other countries will also receive it

Mobile phone maker Motorola unveiled only a few days ago its first handset that was launched in the Korean market with Google's Android 2.0 operating system on board, the Motorola MOTOROI, and it seems that it plans on making the device available for purchase in more markets too. Moreover, one of the markets that will soon receive it is the United States.

Motorola said nothing about the availability of the handset in other markets than Korea when launching the MOTOROI, but, if there are those wondering whether it will indeed deliver it to other users too, The Korea Herald says they should consider it a done deal. It seems that the info comes straight from Rick Wolochatiuk, president and representative director of Motorola Korea.

According to the news site, Wolochatiuk said that MOTOROI “will be launched in other markets around the world.” At the same time, it seems that an SK Telecom SVP also added that the US market was to receive it as soon as March, so things might have been already settled after all. However, nothing is certain until Motorola announces the US launch officially.

In addition to the rumors on the phone's launch in additional markets, some info on the specs it will bring along seem to have also emerged. The US-bound MOTOROI is said to come to the market with the 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen, the 8-megapixel camera, 720p HD video recording capabilities, high-speed GSM connectivity and more.

Until more details on this matter emerge, we should mention a series of video ads with the Motorola MOTOROI, which already emerged into the wild. Unfortunately, they are in Korean, so those who do not speak the language won't get too much out of them. The ads are meant to demonstrate the basic functionalities of the phone, the 8-megapixel camera, and that 720p HD video recording mode. You can find all of the three videos on YouTube here.
