The MOTOLUXE is one of Motorola’s globetrotters as the smartphone has been recently launched in more than a dozen countries across the globe.

Today, the smartphone has finally reached Romania. Android enthusiasts can purchase this affordable Android smartphone through COSMOTE for less than $1 with the Smart XXL 2-year subscription.

This plan will net customers no less than 2.5 GB of mobile data, 500 national and international minutes to certain destinations, 3,000 on-net minutes and SMS, 500 on-net MMS and 3,000 minutes towards Romtelecom from 55.80 RON per month.

It is also worth mentioning that customers who do not want to commit to a long-term contract can purchase the Motorola MOTOLUXE for 999 RON (300 USD or 230 EUR) outright.

Motorola MOTOLUXE is powered by Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform with Moto Switch UI on top. It also packs an 800 MHz single-core processor, which is complemented by an Adreno 200 GPU and 512 MB of RAM.

Expect this one to come with 1 GB of ROM and microSD card for memory expansion (up to 32GB). Furthermore, Motorola MOTOLUXE boasts an impressive 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, as well as a secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls.

Another strong point of the budget-friendly Android smartphone is the large 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 854 pixels resolution.

The smartphone drains energy from a 1400 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 450 hours of standby time or up to 6 hours of talk time.

By combining sleek style with Android brains, MOTOLUXE is ideal for people who want the latest technology in a sophisticated package. Not only does this smartphone have a big screen and the latest, greatest entertainment tools, it’s affordable and won’t take a bite out of your budget,” said Małgorzata Matusiewicz, head of marketing, Central Europe, Mobile Devices, Motorola Mobility.
