Motorola officially announced earlier this week the upcoming availability of its mid-range MOTOLUXE Android phone in Canada. However, the handset manufacturer did not reveal any details on the smartphone’s availability or pricing options.

Motorola MOTOLUXE is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform and packs an 800 MHz single-core processor, 1GB of ROM, 512MB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

According to MobileSyrup, Bell Canada and Virgin Mobile will be among the first to carry the Motorola MOTOLUXE. An internal document recently leaked online confirms the smartphone will be release “in May.”

The new info sheds some light on the handset’s launch date, but we’re still not sure exactly when the Motorola MOTOLUXE goes on sale in Canada. The same goes for the pricing options.
